A little bit of summer on the blog today. Tonia & Alan were married in August last year, they chose vibrant florals, Alan was dapper in his blue suit and orange tie and the day had a relaxed, summery, happy feel to it. Tonia got ready at St Pancras in Apartment 5.21, before heading to meet close friends, family and of course Alan at Burgh House in Hampstead. We were able to make the most of the sunshine and create our couple portraits in the little cobbled streets around Burgh House before everyone jumped on a London bus and headed to The Swan at the Globe for the evening reception. What I loved about their day was how informal it was but equally how thoughtful it was, they both love food, music and wanted to dance and chat with friends so instead of having a sit down meal, they had intervals of floating food, bowls of tapas went round before the oyster bar opened, then the cheese station, followed by savoury pancakes until finally the dessert buffet! Such a wonderful idea! The whole day was a real delight to capture, thank you Tonia & Alan for having me!
